Europa-Park

Triberg waterfalls
Here in Triberg, the waterfall plunges impetuously and foaming down 163 metres. There are three paths that lead you through the area. The nature trail, the culture trail and the cascade trail. Special boards on them provide additional information about animals, plants and the history of the waterfalls. A visit in the evening is also worthwhile: the waterfalls are illuminated until 10 pm, creating a very special atmosphere. The distinctive flora and fauna all around is also worth seeing. Ellbachsee view
On the edge of the Black Forest National Park, in the district of Freudenstadt, the Ellbachseeblick viewing platform, which opened in August 2013, is located high above the Ellbachsee lake, which is classified as a natural monument. The viewing platform is located at 921 metres above sea level, around 100 metres from the Ellbachseeblick hut. The easiest way to reach the platform at Ellbachseeblick is via the Schwarzwaldhochstraße. A hiking trail leads from the car park at the Kniebishütte to Ellbachseeblick, which is only about 1 km away. All Saints’ monastery ruins & waterfalls
The All Saints’ Waterfalls are among the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in the Black Forest. Embedded in the mountain world of Schliffkopf, Hundskopf and Schwabenkopf, they plunge almost 90 metres down the steep rocks over seven cascades. Together with the monastery ruins, the gorges are a popular place, especially in summer. This natural attraction was opened up in 1840 with a picturesque path that leads visitors down numerous steps along the gorge and across several bridges over the waterfalls. Dornstetten
Dornstetten is a gem with medieval flair, just 7 kilometres from Freudenstadt. The little half-timbered town on the edge of the Black Forest is particularly famous for its round-arched half-timbering. The historic old town centre invites you to take a signposted tour through the small alleyways of Dornstetten. Gengenbach is located between forest and vineyards at the entrance to the Kinzig valley in Ortenau and is one of the most famous valleys in the Black Forest. The centre of the town is the market square with the classicist town hall and the market fountain with the stone knight. Bad Wildbad
Bad Wildbad is a spa town in the district of Calw in Baden-Württemberg and is part of the northern Black Forest. Known above all for its healing thermal springs, a wide range of health and wellness programmes and, above all, plenty of variety. On the popular Sommerberg, the Black Forest treetop walk towers 40 metres above the valley. The new Wildline suspension rope bridge is a popular excursion destination.
